still waiting for the radiologist report from the vet. how long does it take to look at xrays and fax over a report? i know she’s *just a dog* but comeon???
i guess it doesn’t help that i’ve been fighting off an infection either.
i want to yell at somebody but i don’t have the strength.

Poor thing. Still sending healng thoughts.
They have to look at the x-rays, hand write or dictate the report, then have some medical transcriptionist type the report, then transmit the report to the doctor’s office, then call you. It’s a bitch waiting.
I’m finally back to 80% after being down with my annual Nasty Winter Cold. I slept a lot and drank (am still drinking) loads of Rooiboos tea. Oh, and the codeine cough syrup for a few days kept me from getting bronchitis. And in a nice hazy state, perfect for catching up on old episodes of LOST.

It’s very nice of you to give them the benefit of the doubt. I did until a week went by. And ya know, if it takes a week to write, transcribe and transmit a report on an xray, then I have to seriously doubt the level of competence of these “experts.”
ahwell….
yes, it IS a bitch waiting.
but, I’m glad you are better. Lucky you to find a doc willing to give you cough medicine that works! I make my own cough syrup that seems to do the trick for most cough troubles. I make it out of elder berries, rose hips, ginger root, brandy and honey. give it a few squirts of echinacea and astragalus tinctures and we have truly yummy *medicinal* stuff.

Ack, a week. Didn’t realize you had been wiaitng for the results for this long–I’m in a time warp since I’ve been sick. Out of sync with everything. Have you called them again (I’m sure you have) and again and again? 😦
The codeine works when I have a cough heading into the chest, but the best I fund for my usualy post-nsasl drip is a Chinese loquat syrup from winghopfun.com. Tastes good too. Has cool Chinese symbols on the bottle as well.
