the break happened in 1993 when a semi decided not to stop at a red light, but brni’s car was in the way. there’s a story that goes with this…here it is:

yes, this is years after it was set. it’s not sticking out the front of his arm anymore.

But still, couldn’t they do a better job of it? I never would have recognized it as an arm if you hadn’t said…Went back and read the post…OMG! I’m lucky I know brni at all!

ya know, i’m sure they could have. i know the SHOULD have. one doctor months after the fact said they could do surgery, rebreak the arm and put a metal cuff around the bone but another doctor told him, “if it was me, i’d live with it. the risk of paralysis was too great.”
so, he lives with constant pain.
and never complains.
