I saw that, too . . .
. . . and thought it was definitely sad. Not to say that, had I been late for my train, I would’ve stopped myself. On the other hand, I can’t remember ever *not* stopping when I hear good street musicians (and I listened to the clip — this guy would, I think, have left me stunned).
Very interesting experiment. I also liked how the change in venue changed Bell’s perspective on his playing.

Wow. That was fascinating, but unfortunately not surprising. What an experience for Joshua Bell, however.
