A) You were friends with and i thought…hmmm…a woman who appreciates food.

C) I like your devotion–or maybe a better word is *delight* — yes, the delight you take in your son. When you write about him I can see you beam!
D) memory…how you dreaded your knee operation, how hard it was for you to be *still* during recovery. I could totally relate!
E) ok, i’d love to know where you grew up and what you wanted to be.
F) i’m partial to the squirrels. 🙂

I grew up in Kingston, Ontario, a very old city (for North America) on the shores of Lake Ontario.
I wanted to be a writer. Never anything else. Two of my sisters were in journalism and I grew up writing stories.

A) i was excited to find out a long-lost cousin was on LJ

C) i like that you are thoughtful, kind and about as cute as a guy can get.
D) i have this vague recollection of you and your brother running around and your mom telling about the kind of food she was into–all fresh vegies and such–very much the way i eat.
