all the illustrations for brni’s book are done and ready for the printer.
been working non-stop for weeks–9 illustrations, 4 designs for “creature” greeting cards, the evil gazebo bookmark for giveaways, business cards for both brni and me.and in the midsts of it all, after i’d finished the last design for brni’s book/faeriecon stuff, my yoga teacher needed a brochure and web update. argh! but i did that too.
now, to finish the already started website for brni and if i have time, one for me too.
i am more exhausted now than i’ve been in a very long time.
but i kinda feel good abt it all too. oh, here’s the business card i made for me…

so, with all the illustrating and making of books, i thought i’d take a look at what’s going on in the world of typography. yeah, yeah, really gripping stuff, i know.
but, i came across this little gem…enjoy. -
I have one more illustration to do and I’m done. The book is back from the printer and I hear that several copies are now sitting expectantly in Alabama, waiting for clothes from ladywind. This is all very exciting, but I want to be finished now, but I have the following to do before Oct. 10:
1. last illustration (done today for sure)
2. bookmarks for giveaways
3. brni’s webpage
4. my webpage
5. paint all the sculpy baby dragon claws to sell at FaerieCon
6. business cards
7. brochure for my yoga teacherAt some point, I need to get out in the yard and do some gardening before my little piece of the planet dies a horrible tangled, viney mess.

when will i learn to follow my gut? whenever i hear the words “insurance” and “company” together, i know i should run away screaming.
so today i must undo what was done when i thought someone else was smarter than my gut.
