things have been breaking all around me. been nervous and worried and wishing for respite. just a little time or place to retreat and daydream.

so, we found the leak. it’s the water heater. called the plumber and now have to wait for however long it takes for them to work us in.
then i noticed the toilet seat is unhinged, so now i have to wait for brni to wake up and hopefully he will go get a new (cheap) one from kmart or some such discounty place.
oh, and the water heater lost its flame and now all the doors and windows are open due to the gas smell.this is not a good sign. i wonder what else i’ll find if i start looking….bleh.

so i started tossing and turning around 2:30 this morning. loki came to bed around 4 and i finally gave up the thought of getting back to sleep at 4:30 and went and made coffee. as i made my second cup, i walked out on the deck and looked up catching sight of an early morning meteor shower.
i’m kind of glad i woke up to see shooting stars.
i can always take a nap later on.

just got two new pieces of software…adobe lightroom and corel painter X. As a university retiree, i can still get software for the educational discount, which makes incredibly expensive software cheapcheapcheap.
